Good news - had my interview last night with a Senior Personnel Officer and I am now officially back in the Uni. It was actually quite a tough interview but to be fair to the uni - it is the third time that I have applied so they are probably wondering what in New Eden I am playing at.
Anyway, I am in and so I can now put in place my 6 month plan to explore all aspects of the game. I'll be spending my first month with the Amarr Mining Campus but rather than just spending a month mining my aim is to be running regular fleets by the end of the month. I'm doing this to (a) gain some experience as a FC which I am sure will come in useful later (b) make some contacts in the uni and in the game generally (c) Get to grips with the mechanics of running a mining fleet as my character is pretty much geared to mining at the moment (d) Help me to explore the region a bit more. So, if you are in the AMC look out for me, and if you aren't you should consider joining as they are a great bunch.
